As you are aware, we have some committed runners taking part in the Hackney Half Marathon at the end of April, and they are helping to raise funds for our ground floor playground redevelopment! Not only have they given themselves a fantastic team name, they have also set an ambitious fundraising target of £5000 to match the school’s projected spend on the playground this year! The team currently comprises parents of Year 1 children, but the group would love to involve any novice, seasoned or professional runners from Reception, too!
It will be a fantastic opportunity to get involved in our community and contribute something amazing to your child’s experience of school (as well as keeping fit and having fun!)
