World Book Day

World Book Day will be taking place on Thursday 6th March 2025. 

We will be celebrating at Halley by immersing ourselves in our favourite stories and discussing our favourite characters. 

With this in mind we will also be dressing up to mark the occasion. We are requesting a £1 voluntary contribution, the proceeds of which will further develop reading areas across the school. 

We will also celebrate with a three-day ‘read-a-thon' leading up to the big day. Volunteers are welcome to help us inspire a love of reading—please get in touch with the school office if you're able to lend a hand.
