Three of our pupils attended the annual Hackney Spanish Spelling Bee competition - an opportunity for all primary schools in Hackney Council to come together and celebrate the Spanish language. Our children did exceptionally well and won the competition!

In the final, all seen words were spelt correctly, and therefore a selection of unseen words were used to determine the winner. The children also got the chance to meet Ms Bernadette Clinton who is the consultant for languages and international links at Hackney Education. Ms Clinton very impressed with their spelling ability, confidence, sportsmanship and pronunciation of the words and letters as they spelt them.
